The lecture addresses the profiling of the competition towards a focus on the existing, urban building stock in Europe. Efficiency, sufficiency and consistency topics have been addressed by 18 teams in ten disciplines over three years and more than 0.5 million data have been collected on the solar campus in Wuppertal, Germany, during the competition final. Initial findings will be presented with a focus on solar applications in buildings.
